1. All players interested in representing SDTF in this year's Cal Cup even in San Diego must submit the application on this website to Captains by JULY 15, 2009. Returning players may be exempt from submitting a new application if they indicate to return to the team by contacting the Captain.

2. All players who indicate they want to play doubles will be asked who their preferred partner would be. Players may be asked by Captain to play with another partner if it is beneficial to the team either before or after the application deadline. Cal Cup Captains have final say on doubles team pairings. Captain will make every attempt to pair players with a compatible player, but the Captain’s goal is to field the best 12 doubles teams from the available players.

3. On August 1, the top 10 doubles teams will be announced.

4. Remaining Doubles players and teams will be placed in a Qualifier tournament for the last two doubles slots. Captain will make every attempt to allow everyone who wants to try out for doubles to get a partner for the qualifier tournament. Dates for these qualifiers will be announced on or before August 1.
