1. The top 24 singles players and the top 12 doubles teams that each team can field among its club members. It is the responsibility of each club to verify that every Cal Cup player is an official member of their club.
2. The event rotates among cities each year: Los Angeles in 2009, San Diego in 2010, San Francisco in 2011, and so on.43. The host city will make all site arrangements, as well as provide for a social dinner after the first night of the competition.
3. The host city will determine the per player cost of the event and collect fees from its own Cal Cup players and the other clubs' captains.
4. The team with the most combined singles and doubles match wins at the end of the event will be declared the winner of the California Cup for that year.
5. The winning city will hold the perpetual Cal Cup trophy for one year and is responsible for bringing the trophy to the following year's competition. |
