- The Ladder Chair will drop from the ladder any player who does not play at least one challenge match during each period. If this happens, he/she may rejoin the ladder by doing the following:
- If a player in position 1-30 is dropped for not playing at least one match during the period, he/she may issue a challenge no higher than position 30 on the ladder, with the exception of the first two weeks of each period (see “Challenge Procedures”). If the challenger loses he/she goes to the bottom of the ladder.
- If a player in position 31-or lower is dropped for not playing at least one match during the period, he/she may issue a challenge no higher than the position he/she held on the ladder before being dropped, with the exception of the first two weeks of each period (see “Challenge Procedures”).
