Gran Prix Points:

1. Players earn Gran Prix points for participating on the ladder. Points will be awarded as follows:
   
   • Issue a challenge and win: +10 points
   • Issue a challenge and lose: +5 points
   • Accept a challenge and win: +7 points
   • Accept a challenge and lose: +3 points
   • Win by default: +5 points (taken from the defaulter)
   • Lose by default: -5 points
   
   
2. The player in each tier with the most total Grand Prix points at the end of the ladder season will receive a prize yet to be determined at the year-end Holiday Party.
   
   
3. The top ranked players at the end of the 2010 ladder season will be invited to participate in the Annual SDTF Grand Prix Master’s Cup Tournament in December.
   
   
4. The winner of the Master’s Cup Tournament will receive a cash prize and the honor of keeping the Master’s Cup Trophy for one year before giving it back to the following year’s tournament director.

Rewards:

1. The top position on each Tier at the end of each trimester will be rewarded 10 bonus points.
   
   
2. As announced, there may be other opportunities to earn points throughout the season for special ladder events and functions.
