Team Tennis Spring 2010: Basics |

- Entry fee is $25 per player, which defrays most of the cost of Team Tennis.
- Deadline to enter is midnight, January 11, 2010.
- Draw Party will be on Friday, January 15, 2010, 7:00PM in the clubhouse at Balboa Tennis Club.
- Play begins Sunday, January 24, 2010, at 9:00 AM.
- There will be 7 weeks of scheduled play. There are some off weeks due to the GLTA's tournament schedule.
- The player roster will be limited to 8 teams with 10 players per team (80 players). Teams play each other at least once.
- Each player plays one singles, no-ad, pro-set (first to 6 games) and one doubles, no-ad, pro-set (first to 8 games) against each of the other 7 teams.
- Half the matches will be played at the San Diego City College (SDCC) tennis courts and the other half will be played across the street at the San Diego High School (SDHS) tennis courts. Other courts may be used if these courts are not available.
- Doubles matches are worth 1½ points per match for each team.
- Singles matches are worth 1 point per match for each team.
- At the end of the regular season, only the top 4 teams in the final standings will advance to the playoffs.
- The semis and the finals will both be played on the same day at the San Diego High School and the City College, with a picnic held immediately thereafter on the lawn at the Balboa Tennis Center.
