Team Tennis Spring 2010: Provisional Rankings |

- If the Ranking Committee decides that there is not enough information on a particular player's skill level to make an informed decision regarding his/her ranking on the eligibility list, then that player will be assigned a provisional ranking.
- Provisionally ranked players will be designated by a (P) next to their name on the official team roster.
- The Ranking Committee reserves the right to reclassify the level at which a provisionally ranked player was originally assigned.
- If a provisionally ranked player has to be reclassified, his/her Team Captain will be notified within 48 hours after that player's first Team Tennis match.
- If a player is reclassified, then he/she is placed in the appropriate spot on their team's roster. The player previously occupying that spot in the lineup (and all other players below that spot) then moves down one position to fill the team roster.
Example: If a provisional player is originally placed at the # 5 spot and it is later determined that he/she really belongs at the # 3 spot, then that player becomes his/her team's new # 3. The old # 3, as well as all the players below that spot, moves down one position on the team roster.
- Provisionally ranked players remain on the team they were assigned and are never switched from team to team.
