Entry fee is $26 per player. Those wishing to serve only as an alternate do not pay an entry fee. Regular players and alternates must be current members of the San Diego Tennis Federation.
Deadline to apply is September 25, 2011. The application can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Team Tennis Commissioners or any Board member. The mailing address will be provided via email.
The player roster will be limited to 6 teams with 10 players per team. A waiting list will be maintained once 60 applications have been received, and those not assigned to a team may serve as alternates.
Draw Party will be on October 7, 2011.
The season schedule was planned to avoid interference with other SDTF events or popular GLTA and USTA events taking place the first two weekends of October. The regular season will encompass five Sundays between October 16 and November 13, 2011, followed by the playoffs on November 20 (please note that this is the Sunday immediately before Thanksgiving). The season may also include December 4 to make up for a rainout.
Matches will take place at either 8:30 am or 11:00 am only at the Peninsula Tennis Club (PTC).
Each player plays one singles no-ad pro-set (first to 6 games) and one doubles no-ad pro-set (first to 6 games) against each team.
Playoffs will consist of semi-final between the top four teams and a final match between the winners of the semis.
